I truly believe that a perfect portrait doesn't involved the perfect pose, my sessions and fun and wild and free, we play and dance and sing! All while capturing real moments, reactions and emotions that tell the story of your family, in the chapter you are in right now.

My sessions are play based and fun for all the family, photographing lively children at their best when playing with their parents creates stunning pictures that you will look fondly upon for years to come. My sessions are so enjoyable, easygoing and full of laughter that families return year after year, falling in love with photographs that capture each new chapter in their families ever changing lives.

Family photography is everything, it's about storytelling and capturing the love, emotion and the bonds we share. Its knowing childhood is fleeting and we need to cherish every milestone from first smiles to growing up.

Outdoor family photo shoots are perfect for babies, toddlers, and children, but these sessions work so much better when the whole family joins in!

How long will the session last?

My photography sessions usually last an hour, but I do not clock watch, so if it goes over it is not a problem, quite often I find when I think i'm done, children will do something super cute to make me turn the camera back on! Or we may find a new area that's just perfect for some additional photos.

My session ends, when I think I have captured the memories you deserve to have captured.

Quite often my session are over a lot quicker than an hour, but I pencil in this amount of time should your little need to extra comforting during the session.

My child centred approach allows me to go at their pace, so we will always capture beautiful photographs.

I want you to enjoy your experience with me, whilst we capture some amazing memories of your newborn baby for you but equally I do not keep you longer than necessary!

Where will my session take place?

Going outdoor and on location of your choice is perfect for family and maternity photo shoots. They will normally take place on a location that has meaning to you and your family, but don't worry if a favourite place doesn't come to mind, we will work together to find the perfect location for you, be it a beach, a natural woodland or the rolling hills of Dartmoor.

Take a walk through the different seasons and find your perfect location for family portraits. A spring photo shoot is fresh and vibrant, a summer photo shoot is relaxed and bright or is an autumn photo shoot more you? – with crunchy leaves and stunning woodland.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes absolutely, well behaved dogs are always welcome! I love including dogs in a session, after all they are part of the family too! It's so adorable photographing children with their beloved pet, if you wish to include your dog, please let me know when booking so we can be sure I have everything set up and I have a few treats in my pocket!

When should I book a photo shoot?

The great thing about family photography is that you can have sessions whenever you like!

With outdoor sessions, I book the week ahead so I know what the weather forcast is and only pencil in future dates, the more dates you have to give me, the better chance we will have with the British weather!
